Factory Roof Failure in Ohio
When a roof collapsed in Ohio due to excessive roof loads during a storm event, crews were dispatched to document the damage for forensic engineering analysis. Our team worked with structural experts to document the steel building frame for comparison to the original building plans. Furthermore, our engineers analyzed weather event data and code requirements for rainfall design events to determine the validity of the design details associated with the factory construction. This work not only identified flaws that led to this collapse but also created clear criteria for the replacement of the structure to accommodate all loading scenarios for the protection of the building and the people who rely upon the safety of the building in which they work daily.
Radio Tower Accident
When a radio tower construction site incurred a tragic accident, we were called upon to work on a team of engineers for the re-creation of the scenario in which the tragic accident occurred. We performed 3D-Modeling of the tower and assisted in the analysis of the tower erection and methods including site geometric analysis for compliance with construction standards. This type of forensic investigation is a challenging environment in which our staff excels in accuracy and thoroughness of investigation and analysis for the protection of the public and workers alike.
