Municipal Train Station Parking Lot Reconstruction for Village of Libertyville

Construction oversight for the reconstruction of the Metra Commuter Lot at Prairie Crossing for the Village of Libertyville. This work included the logistical coordination necessary to keep an active commuter parking lot in service by implementing a multi-phased approach.

Route 14 Water Main Extension for the Village of Palatine

Construction oversight for the installation of a new water main installed by boring operation under the Route 53 overpass. Extensive conflict resolutions were required.  This included a highly developed cost matrix to identify the most cost-efficient manner in which to adjust the water main for conflict avoidance as unmapped and unknown buried structures were encountered.

Project Highlights

Pipe Lining and Repairs for Golf Course and Private Parcels

Construction Oversight for a 42” storm sewer lining project through multiple properties. This project included the coordination with multiple regulatory agencies for the validation of the repairs and lining in conformance with the Illinois Drainage Code. This project also necessitated:

  • Detailed mapping of the pipe interior for documentation of the existing conditions 
  • Ascertain viability for the lining procedure, for comparison to pipe replacement, in terms of both cost and impacts on properties
