The Village of Inverness
Jason Doland has been the Village Engineer for The Village of Inverness for 15 years. Doland Engineering performs all municipal engineering services to support this community.
This includes comprehensive engineering services:
- Stormwater management
- Roadway drainage systems
- Municipal streets
- Waterways, creeks, ponds, wetlands
- Regulatory compliance with state and federal agencies
- Local permitting review and inspections.
Forensic Investigation of Roof Collapse
When a sports complex roof collapsed during heavy rainfall, crews were dispatched to document the damage for forensic engineering analysis. Our team worked with structural experts to document the steel building frame for comparison to the original building plans and to develop installation conditions models to document tolerance and steel erection conditions that may have contributed to the roof collapse.

Ground-Mount Solar Array
This solar array was part of a 26MW project with a land area of 90 acres. The site civil design was coordinated with the array electrical designers and construction team. Our work further included permit coordination through multiple agencies including local municipalities along with county and state agencies.
Route Surveying - U.S. Route 20 Highway Mapping
- 5-miles of highway surveying and mapping
- Scope included:
- Section surveying for 10 sections for baseline mapping along Route 20 improvements
- Final preparation of Section Survey Plats, Easement Plats, Monument Records, and establishment of all Section corner monumentation
